the figure 4 trap mechanism is an easy trap to make needing no string or cordage just a knife . you need 3 sticks first you need to carve square notches into 2 of them so they fit into each other to make a cross shape then you need to carve the vertical one into a 1 sided point and the cross piece (bait stick) need a slanted notch cut in then you third peice (holding stick) need a 2 sided point cut in and at one end to fit into the bait stick notch then a notch cut out to fit the top of the first stick
malc i have wanted to contact you for a long time but i dont know will this go true i have been trying to make bows for ages with a axe but no planner i finaly have a electric one and i have ash and yew will you please tell me will this work the yew is off a fully grown yew tree and in the inside it is a bit orange will this effect my bow please reply
